I made a few friends at Infy and I value them even after leaving the company. That's about the only good thing that happened with me at Infosys.

Dislikes

In my team, because of my manager, a toxic work environment was created. I was the only girl in a team of men and the environment was suffocating. The above mentioned manager was sadistic, egoistic and really just wanted to put people down. When I complained about his behaviour to skip-level manager, no action was taken. I was moved to a different team and the toxic manager ended up getting promoted. All the top management cares about is results. The toxic manager was able to get work done by his team no matter how much it affected his team members' mental health. And this made him the golden-boy in the eyes of the management. For me, working at Infosys BPM was the worst experience and I would not wish such a toxic culture on anyone....Read More

Work Details

I was part of the Solution Design team at Infosys BPM. I was handling bid management, proposal writing and pricing of bids. It was too much for one person to handle. In all other BPO companies, there are 3 different individuals handling these 3 areas.

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety
