It was a great learning experience. As a mechanical engineer, you get to see the processes that have studied only in books uptil now. Moreover, the fact that you are learning at a national organisation INDIAN RAILWAYS it fills you up with pride of a strong nation.

Dislikes

If they provide a little hands on experience like small projects that would be very beneficial.

Very helpful and cooperative. Though you would a assigned a specific department, if your work is good and have interest in other department then you can work in that as well.

Dislikes

Since it department was not technology focused, the work was pretty outdated and new ideas given were mostly rejected owing to complexities in the department.
