Earlier the culture was good , but now it has been ruined by the upper management. Work life balance is better than other startups but not good at junior levels

Dislikes

Upper management don't know what to do , they keepon hopping. Also , they don't listen to their employees . Perception driven management . No perks of startups , extremely strict of office timings n all.

- Hybrid policy & office timings is from 8.30 to 5.30 (I personally like it so we could avoid traffic) - Breakfast, lunch & snacks - Majority of the senior folks are so great as individuals. - Freshers will be able to learn things fast & gain good knowledge (may depends on the team as well)

Dislikes

- Micromanagement: It's so disappointing how the company changed from being so flexible towards developers to micro managing everyone. I strongly feel this should be changed. - Overhiring & Underpaying - Delayed review/appraisal/promotion cycles: We will receive the arrears, true, but delay for months effects the motivation. How canone give his/her 100% during those months? - Mass layoffs - Unnecessarily complicating the processes: We introduced extra processes at every step just so that more people get involved from a single work. Management should try to revisit & simplify the processes so that developers could concentrate more on developing rather than other stuff. Even the recurring meetings & MRMs usage should be revisited once - Fixed & Variable pay concept: They introduced concept of variable pay depending on company's performance. And there's no variable pay from last 3 quarters. Instead of this, variable should be on individual performance atleast, so it motivates hardworking folks. Or just remove variable concept for tech guys. - Decreased interview standards - Not a latest tech: We are still working on old versions of tech just because developers couldn't get atleast a sprint to upgrade stuff. It was a nice place when I joined sadly in a few months I started realizing that it was not a place to stay long term.

Failed strategies Unhappy teams and demotivating environment Impulsive and temperamental and biased and self absorbed co-founders Partial Managers Extremally low salaries and low hikes along with no job security for the past year - lot of lay offs when they are done with the person The Policies and Culture is a sham - once you spendtime you can see it. Mental wellness program added but behaviors are only having more and more negative effect especially from department heads and co founders. So, good decision to shut it down, because no one is going to change. They have no money, no profits and no business sense to get past this time without harming their employees - so they lay off so many for their own money squandering blunders and they will move on to burn out the rest for their own selfish gains....Read More

The culture at Increff is pretty good. People are really good and approachable.

Dislikes

The management here is not good. This are really chaotic at times. And on top of it there’s no job security. You never know when you might get fired. On top of it you don’t get increments regularly or other benefits at all.
