Lots of thing to learn. This company literally has each and every huge instrument/machine/vessel a mechanical engineer need to gains its knowledge for future growth. Nice food and travel facilities. Company is best for desk job.

No one is ready to teach in Mechanical Dept. The managers only need that the engineers should not sit for 10mins. They only need engineers to run in plant either it be for work or for some non-sense reason. They really want to satisfy there ego. Field job is the worst part you have to stay whole day under sun in open plant with hotvessels ranging temp. 50-400 degree C. Managers will always try to stuck you after your duty hours they always want you to forget about home and work for 12-15hrs with only single OT. The worst part is OT for engineers they only pay you single OT depending upon your basic salary which is definitely very much low....Read More

Giving good salary. So many unique and complex equipments are here to learn but you don't have authority to learn about them.

No safety at all. No manager come to site to see the work only demand photos of work,most of work operate through WhatsApp in this company 🤣. More importance to fabrication. Engineers are doing checklists of pumps on daily basis which is technician job. Only some managers get skilled contract manpower for their work. Doens't have sufficient manpower in night shift to attain maintenance related work. Manager Doesn't have ethics of talking to employees. Not allow to go to home at 5pm,you should stay for few hours after your duty hours whether there is work or not. No personal life. No mechanical spares available. Very stressful job. Learning has no limit at IGPL. If you really want to be the key person on technical aspect, this is the one company which will provide you the ultimate scope for learning engineering. Very good for beginners.

Salary package could be better. There is no 9-5 work culture. You may have to work beyond that too. Working with Union people is a challenge
