I'm feeling good work life balance than my previous job. But of late it has also started depleting. Now working in IFB is itself a big challenge.

Dislikes

Employee benefits are not there at all like no incentives, very less reimbursements, no increment for last few years. Most of peers are in same page saying that "we made a wrong choice".

Work Details

Since the service policy is weird when compared to the competitors in the market, we lose our self respect in many instances while interacting with our stake holders.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within City.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
