I like work life balance in hsbc.

Work-life balance - Good

Dislikes

Job security is not that up to mark comapare to government banks. Bulk promotions not happening from past 4 years cuz of admin level decisions of changing promotion procedures. Qc people are keen on deep searching and finding out cosmetic changes in their work and very interested only for marking errors even if it is not required.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is good. Company policies are good . Appraisals are not fair and they don't give good salary hike and bonus every year and no work life balance especially KYC ..Very much hectic with lot of policies and procedures.

The job is challenging, I struggled a bit in the beginning later I learnt everything on the job but still being a KYC Analyst there are lot of roles and responsibilities on our head and it's really a struggle .Hard working and continues learning process.

Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer.
