Nothing to like about, on some days food is good, that too is expensive.
Lot of Dirty Politics at Honeywell Bangalore, some Engineering Managers are incompetent, they dislike those software engineers who graduated from premier Indian Colleges like IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and NITs (National Institute of Technology), and so they plot against them by giving only those employees lot of work to do such that they have to sit and work for long hrs a day including weekends, even worse is those employees can't clock in more than 8 hrs a day in timesheet....Read More

Few teams have good learning curve. Flexible timings at office
Promotions and hike cycle is not good, it's even difficult to get double digit hikes at times. And the sad part is these hikes are not dependent on the work you do, rather on the rapport you have with your manager and being very strict on your demands of year on year hike. I didn't see my work speak anytime during my tenure here. No flexible component in compensation as well, very less benefits.

One bad thing is taking feedback from juniors or individuals and psting in HPD comment about that and hitting in hike. THEY HAVE TO SEE WHETEHR THE EMP IS WOKRING ADN FINISHING HIS WORKON TIME OR NOT. Because every individuals having different openions on you or me or other so that they take it and kill you in HPD.

Nothing. It is good for local people, they take it as a part-time job and they handle their business outside. Or many of them just sit and wait for retirement from here. Managers and directors are not here by their quality but they are just sitting here for 15 years and waiting for retirement.
The company has no salary or position growth opportunities. There is a lot of politics from higher to lower levels, and no HR support for any issues. They may also disrupt your personal life by sending you to the customer's location. Additionally, they might refuse to give you a salary hike because you received per diem (daily allowances on site, i.e., $50) at the customer site.

It is as usual as it is in other companies. Processes are established a little bit since the company is old still there are many domains in which processes are yet established.
A lot of politics. There is no foolproof system or process of evaluating the performance of employees. For example, I delivered 230% performance last year and I got 7% hike and my other colleagues who delivered 80% to 90% performance too got the same hike. Many managers are not capable of evaluating the performance. Hence employees who are buttery get the benefit. Those who are talented but slightly disagree with the senior managers in terms of how the work should be done, such employees suffer. The system and processes are exceptionally great and data availability is easy. It helps to be more strategic and analytical without wasting time on data arrangement.
Too many calls and work life balance is challenging across all the functions. No employee benefits apart from decent salary which doesn't help Honeywell to stand out in the market. Campus is average old style with big parking challenge.
