The work culture is the backbone of all organisations & this is pretty weak in HZL. With negligible or zero work life balance and long working hours, the attrition rate usually remains very high. It has an extremely toxic workplace environment too, with senior management majorly driving office politics.

*Since you'll be living at a remote location so it has its own perks like you save a lot of your salary. *Job security will also be good at this place since most of the people working here leave their jobs and the people left here keep on trying for new jobs, so if you stay here there won't be probably anyone who'll try to remove you from the job so in terms of job security? Yes the job is good.

Nothing about the job is likeable here starting on with- * Work life balance will be completely destroyed, if you come in shifts there will always be multiple shift changes in a single week in the beginning it will be Ok but as time passes it will be very difficult, or if you get an office job again office culture is toxic so in 8amto 5pm shift, you can't get out of the office before 6:30pm, its a part of the culture. * If you are coming as an engineer and trying to learn new things to grow yourself in your career, sorry you will only get to learn those things that are necessary to run the plant and if you try to learn more your seniors will oppose you, your managers won't support you and force you to focus on the plant based activities only. * If you are enthusiastic in your career and work hard to get promotions, sorry you won't get any of it, yes you'll get promotions if you'll say everything yes to your boss, even if he does something wrong or the things that you don't like you have to support him otherwise you won't be promoted. *Remote job location- you'll need to live near mines that are in most cases(70%) situated in villages, i am also posted at village location, so no quick food service/supermarket/chill zones, (yess amazon/flipkart deliver their products here) *Couple unfriendly - since you're living in a village are you are in relationship with someone but not married then you'll be heavily judged here by everyone, not only villagers but your own company people, since couples don't get combined accomodations here(only if you're married then you can get combined palce to live). * The leaders that you're working under are also talentless they don't know things beyod their workplace, majority of the people can't even communicate in English and yes I am talking about engineers here(most of them are from local colleges so if you're from a prestigious college like IIT/NIT/IIMs you will have to work under literally illiterate people). * Job satisfaction will always be missing in your life, since here you'll have 6 days working and one week-off, so even if you want to go to nearby city and chill sometime, you'll have to take your paid leaves....Read More

1.) Majorly Incapable , egoist people on plant head levels neither good leaders/ managers nor empathatic. 2.) Very bad appraisal system , Curse to get a C 'consistent' grade..all share benefits, yearly variables ( major chunk in salary ctc ) , incentives, promotions etc will nullify, even past shares will become zero too, you will never be able to be recruited back to organisation.Bad HR policies. 3.) Culture is very bad , nepotism & favouritism has overshadowed technical accumen, many incentives always goto the favoured few, no empathy between mgmt & workers now.Every penny you earn as salary will be reminded to you every now & then by senior mgmt as if granted to you as a favour beyond your calibre. Always say YES' & by EOD' culture is forced without due discussions or considerations. 4.) Very stressfull environment at job, Zero job Security !! ...Mark my words, the more you stay here the chances to get disposed or laid off increase manyfolds.Chances to get retire or work honorably in late years are scarce to none.. 5.) No proper balance of experience, either 15 to 20 yrs+ or just GETs..so practically even on head positions , you are basically left with none to pass on instructions or get jobs done safely.Even you are supposed to run all day or night in case of a problem in plant as no experience people are left. 6.) None of the employees have a good image/ words for the company, everyones just looking to escape.Suffocating formalities to route a work through finance ,commercial, safety,Hr..No coordination between departments regarding policy framing or chain of approvals. 7.) Salaries and savings are good as you have nowhere to go to spend. Township is quite excellent as you have to share rooms with 4 individuals so you can maintain social life. Food is quite palatable as it gets prepared in excessive oil. You can easy shop on e-commerce as amazon, flipkart can reach here. Intellectually, you don't have to put lot of efforts as work is not mentally challenging.

On day 1 itself everybody will try to convince you to resign in upcoming years.Your sleep schedule will get ruined by constant changes.
