They may hire you as permanent after 4-5 years. Salary : Strongly negotiable, though will most probably get an increment after the completion of a year if you are reappointed after summer vacations. Travel: sometimes once or twice a year as a staff trip. Politics: one needs to be firm with your decisions. Learning and innovation: A lot.
