I think...Greaves cotton is one of best company of world. Where all my teammates are too good as well as management . He is very supportive and helping nature. He understood the problems means what's wrong instead of scolding. There only firstly focus on quality then quantities. Everyone feel proud and also everyone will feel proud be part of greaves cotton . I think only one thing ...I dislike that is .. management not a take fresher and not provide GTE for B.tech/BE...only fresher can work in greaves cotton on contact basis.

Greaves Cotton is best for learning overall characteristics that is required in manufacturing industry in which CNC,vmc,hmc,spm,gear hobbing and induction hardening etc machine and much use of measuring instruments like vernier caliper snap meter micrometre trimos height gauge between center and gear rollings tester etc

Greaves as a group is good. there is no coordination between the divisions every business heads take things in their own direction

greaves retail division is pathetic. led by a weak ceo [nj]. who has more experience in closing the businesses than running. he listens to everyone and does everything without using his brains. retail business - head of marketing [pb] cum business head is a buff00n. he himself doesn't know what he speaks. since two years he heads a business has collapsed miserably. every hour he makes atleast two contradicting statements no clarity. unfortunately he is the think tank of weak ceo! can you imagine a head of marketing he keeps roaming on the floor in the morning that company has lot of money lets spend it, and in the noon he says we dont have budget for this year, and this happens everyday ! since two years now the new ceo and mktng head have joined business has collapsed they still blame the old management for their incompetency....Read More

Nobody is bothered about the organisation.

Dislikes

No vision for business. They are working only sun setting business of ICE. Their EV BU has no R&D. Whatever they do is assemble parts brought from china and label them by their name. The company has legacy of 150+ years but they have not developed a single engine. Coming to people management, they are very good at politics. One will not even come to know that he has got kicked.
