Work Environment is one thing every Godrejite or Ex-Godrejite would always vouch for (esp. Ex-Godrejites as they can compare). The top management is humble, understanding and motivating. One aspires to work under such people.

Dislikes

During appraisals (promotions) esp to a different role/function, mostly the data points are given more weightage which may be the ideal way but there are other soft skills too which take a backseat. Relative performance might be a factor of many things and it doesn't always indicate that someone is a better resource just because inthat particular year his numbers look better than yours. Ultimately overall understanding and maturity to handle the next level role is also important. May be that's why a lot of people leave right after a promotion at GCPL as they don't hold the understanding required for that role....Read More
