The opportunity to pursue ones dream exist provided one has the will power.Meanwhile,job security is quite assured compared with the private.In wake of the novel covid-19, l feel more should be have been done to protect the teachers with regard to the PPEs among others

The low salary levels and the lack of bonuses and allowances in the service.

The company is open to everyone who has gone through all the courses at college unlike other companies where you will be taken through interviews with years of experience

Dislikes

The company has stopped providing text books and have warned their employees not to enforce children to buy books. It is making teaching and learning slow

Ghana education service recruits competent and well trained teachers. You have teammates who are ready to achieve goals at the end of every year. You also enjoy excellent working environment.

Dislikes

1. The curriculum of Ghana education service is more of liberal instead of including vocational and technical. 2. Teachers have no voice to share their views. Teacher unions don't who are supposed to be the voice of the poor teacher are clothed with politics and selfish interests.

I think with respect to time there is enough time to rest and prepare for daily work. There's also solid ground for job continuity. SalarI especially are within the average Ghanaian worker.

Dislikes

The major set back is the inadequate supply of relevant materials for teaching and learning. Moreover , there is poor supervision of work by officials and if any do not comment on the good work of hard working but only on the negative. The promotion formate is obsolete and just not appropriate. There is also a huge gap for management to organise in service training for her employees.

It is very demanding considering the ratio of teacher to student ratio. It is interesting working with the service

At times the human relationship that exist between teachers and supervisor's is very low in terms of assistance
