I am very new working in Getsetfly Media as video editor. Was having advanced skill of Premier Pro but basic skill of After Effects. Hence had difficulty in clearing my probation. Was given a probation period of 3 months earlier by the company. But Nikita Mam was kind and cooperative enough to give an extention of one month more, so that I clear the probation.She trained,counselled and ensured that I put in my best efforts and thereby clear the probation. The work culture is friendly,non toxic,non political and thorough professional result oriented. Efforts,innovation and results are suitably acknowledged and rewarded. Really, it is a great team spirit and great company to work for. I have worked in 2 companies before and have never seen a break culture wherein all team members from interns , to juniors to seniors including Nikita Mam and Gaurav Sir, we all sit together and have lunch and debate on different office and also casual issues. Various individual birthdays and events are celebrated of every team member. Really hats off to entire management for pulling this off!...Read More

Very less female editors are there in our team in comparison to males.They could hire more females to maintain balance.The office timing could also be made from 10.00 to 7.00 instead of 9.30 to 6.30 PM to ensure easier train availability.

I joined in here as a Video editor. I loved the fact that they taught you everything from how to edit a good video to advanced concepts of marketing. This is what I love the most, that even if a person doesn't have formal degree for a role, but is interested and committed to learn the skill, he would be taught it. This gave me opportunities to explore skill outside of my career choice.

Dislikes

The work schedule can sometimes get stressful even though compensation is fairly provided. It used to have some senior leader politics, but that problem was eliminated after reinforcing the culture values. I would say infrastructure could also be better.

I am writing this solely because I got a 20% hike this month and its been only 4 months since I joined GetsetflyMedia because I was a subscriber and really wanted to work with them. During my PI round, they had discussed a goal with me that I had to fulfill and they told me that they would offer direct 20% hike on my ctc. I really thought this wouldn't happen it would take atleast 7 months for my first hike. But they stood their ground. As soon as I completed by goal, my salary was hiked. The video editing team is the best department everyone are helpful and work as a team.

The management of this company is run by the family member so they follow hire and fire policy. The probation period is not about the training but an excuse to terminate you without any valid reasons. As an Hr I found that this company doesn't care about the employees. So I won't recommend this company if you are a fresher or an experience individual who wants growth and stability. They don't put the employee on a PIP but directly terminate them. Also the policies of the company is not structured properly eg - You work for 3 months without leave when you are in the probation period but the leave doesn't get accumulated in that period you need to clear your probation and work for a month to get 2 leaves which means in 4 month of working you get only 2 leaves in your leave balance. I hope my review helps someone take a better decision I did the mistake of joining this company and I hope you'll don't do the same. There's definitely no work life balance and the management is a family of cheapskates that will promise you one salary at teh time of the interview but will find a silly reason to terminate you after a month because suddenly their budget is only 15-20k per employee for all vacancies.
