HR dept was the worst! Did not solve any problems of employees, infact used to do Politics, turning employees against each other and the leaders too. But now they fired them after receiving multiple complaints from employees and since then the overall vibe has become 10X better as all problems are directly addressed and answered without any bureaucracy....Read More

4 years experience in GetsetflyMedia I have been working in the company since last 4 years. I joined as an editor and I have managed a team of 4 people for one of their YT channels. I never thought I could lead a team and scale from an editor to a team lead. This was only possible because I was given the required environment, mentorship and space to enhance my skills. I joined in with a low salary but in just 1 year my salary tripled because here there is a “High Performance High Growth Policy”. This company is very serious about this. They would discuss a goal with you very transparently and offer a hike to complete it. The hike would then directly depend on the performance and not time period. Hence I have seen many cases wherein people have gotten 10-15k hike in just 3 months if they were able to achieve their goals. And of course the exact opposite thing happens with people who are not a culture fit to the organisation. Culture is another main principle. Members are briefed about how - Trust, Honesty, Loyalty to Team and Excellence are the pillars of the team during their induction round or monthly meets and any person who isn’t a fit, is political, two faced and or insecure of others success is identified quickly. They are made aware of their actions and if not fixed, are terminated. This is exactly why I love the vibe of Getsetfly Media and you can see some hate comments here too. It’s a pretty big office and trust me, I go to any room, social media, editing, researching, finance, people are really amicable, nobody has any personal agendas. We all sit and have lunch together at 1.30 including Gaurav Sir and Nikita Ma’am. I remember once I was feeling stressEd and I just told Nikita ma’am that can I work tomorrow as I am not feeling like working today. I was very scared because let’s face it, this isn’t even a “real mature” reason. But she agreed to it and sweetly told me no problem, Creative Block is a real thing. Trying to improve employees who do not perform well. I feel this sometimes burdens other performing team member. This happened with me once when 2 team members were poor performers and I had to complete their work. I think giving them 2 weeks is enough to judge them. This is my personal opinion. Also since this is a media company, sometimes because of trending news and uploads, I have to wait till 7.30ish but the vibe after 6.30 when everybody leaves is even better. I joined GetsetflyMedia 2 years ago, solely to work with Gaurav Sir as i developed a passion for Science just because of his videos. Things i like about company - 1- They has always been very clear. Honestly there was a time where my performance had gone bad a lot. They told it to me very maturely instead of firing directly like in my previous company did. 2- I had a personal problems due to which i needed finances, Gaurav sir personally gave me 2 lakhs loan and helped me get out of the mess by contacting with police and fixing mine issue. I have worked in 3 companies before and no company owner every helped so much. 3- They work on the culture of the organisation a lot. They are ready to take action on the best performers too if they are coming to office with a wrong mindset, want to do politics. 4- since they manage many yt channels so they keep inventing new things create new departments and many times they are many opportunities for the right people. I personally got 1 hike for 10k directly in 3 months just for setting a dept. matlab if you want to grow very fast and have the right skills and mindset, you can directly discuss with them and they will create a plan for you with goal with salary hike. also i personally like the incentive thing here.. many people get 10 - 10,000 only in 1 month to complete a monthly goal 5- Timming. i have worked in 3 companies before and honestly there is no timing in media field. in one company they made me work from 9-10pm. Here but only when trending videos is to be edited we stretch till 9 other wise 7.30 is max timing in which we used to get free....Read More

1- the company has strict performance and incentive and growth policy. You will be given a lot of time and training ( 4-5 months) but you have to become independent editor very soon. Metrics and goals are given to you for every video which shows your growth as editors. 2- Sometimes wehave to edit without shoot when we have to edit trending video which is little difficult and taken time to edit me for personally. 3- Not a dislike for me i like growing so... but since they manage many yt channels they keep trying new things for many channels so many depts to 4- many times we plan to celebrate a festival or function but because of work pressure all team members cant be free together so only some enjoy and many work. would love if we could have more function in which all members are present and enjoying....Read More
