There is no policy and provision for wrong doing of deans . They can hire and fire anybody which is the worst part here . There is no committee to listen problem of faculties . There is a dean in SOHT dept, work environment is pathetic there, he only follow his own rules, he don't wantuniversity to interfere in his work . Most of the faculties in that department are unqualified that dont have PhD, research papers, net qualified even they have not qualified Hotel mgt entrance exam. Dean can shout to faculties in front of co ordinator. Due to that I have to resign from my job and I was very dissatisfied from dean behavior but no body listen to me. My performance was also excellent during two year and published so many research papers and won many award but if dean like of SOHT dept implement their own rules and hire unqualified faculty then how the quality of education will improve. I enjoyed working in university but due to department politics I have to resign and no action has been taken against dean even he also out question paper which are totally confidential there is one faculty who has access of all subjects question papers that is totally confidential. I don't know why actions have not been taken against the dean of department in such a wrong activities . He even discriminate against female and male. He talks very softly to female faculties but talk very rude against male faculty due to that most of the male faculty resigned. He also promote drinks, liquor, night parties on the roof of SOHT. I don't know how it is allowed in the university culture. I request from higher authorities to take strict action against dean of SOHT other wise it will ruined all the culture of the department and university which I already suffered there as a faculty.
