I would say for experience or fresher if you have basic knowledge of Java and JS then i would definitely recommend this company for L2 support. You will get good exposure of Java and JS here and if you know java and js concept well enough then ,you can definitely help development with your expertise and definitely can try for development role.

Dislikes

Management is little loose i would say. Senior employee hesitate or avoid to give KT to new employees and after they will love you for support role without proper flow knowledge. Specially Girls on senior level do that and their assignments of tickets sucks. They avoid picking ticket to them and assign it to new employees or whoeverworking under them. It should stop and there should be good handling of tickets and other roles. Notice period is 3m and not negotiable and this sucks. Company should give leverage to employees for such long notice period. At least there should be buyout or pay compensation options. i would recommend to get it written in offer letter when join the company....Read More

Good i enjoyed it and i would recommend do little hard work rather then be reliable on the others.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
