Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

The work experience at GAIL had been my worst. To be honest, never go by the name. The work place is literally owner by the GAIL employees and their families. Although you get a good compensation and salary but your personal life is going to suffer. You have to get involved into sycophancy to get yourself safe. Situated in the remotest location of India you should consider it as your option only and only if there's nothing left. The career growth is like any other school. There's lots and lots of politics and it hampers the overall growth if you are not one of those....Read More

There's no privacy because you get to see your students in the market and around your neighborhood. The team there is not supportive. No basic induction was provided just straight to work and then getting judged for all the wrong doing. So much politics and sycophancy.
