There are many pretending to be smart fellows who believe employees to come to office and work for 5 days, random new rules out of nowhere. Director feel he is the king, he can do whatever he wants. In management meetings, there are no conclusions, they keep on targeting their none favourites employees and pushed them to resign. Politics. If you're not buttering up the manager or the favourite employee of the manager then you're gone. Senior employees have a govt job here. Some people got special posts made just for them since they're old. They won't leave and juniors will never be promoted. If you're an introvert and don't like speaking much in meetings then your rating will affect because managers here love to micro manage but don't let it show. You have to shout and show your work loudly and also drag other people down to earn appraisal. In just 5 years few people have been promoted to Team Lead and they openly talk about having "that" kind of relationship with senior management if you also want to reach where they are. One wrong argument with someone and you'll be fired. If you've joined as a consultant from another company then be ready to work double than their perm employees with zero recognition. They fired more than 10% consultants quietly and 10% perms openly in 2024. Constant fear of getting fired if you're not automating something important in your team. And if you did automate you're fired as you're not needed anymore due to budget issues. If you're someone good at buttering this company is good for you....Read More

The company is actually very employee centric in relation to other companies. Although during the recent times Fidelity has been laying off people from offices globally. At the moment the company is going good targeting higher margin for profits and reducing the benefits but still the company is a goor company to work with.
Sometimes, the work load increases and it goes for all levels of management. Something that is concerning for the non tech side is the real time monitoring. Each and every task is timed and if you complete the task within the required time then you are productive.
