Worst management,only profit centic organization, words and action won't go hand in hand. Few managers really think of employees but not the upper management. Management doesn't have to follow any rule they will work as like they want.

Not so good, no work life balance. management ask us to work more than work hours , can't take earned leaves, have to fight if needed and it became unwritten rule later. Shift Allowances are very less but to get it you have to struggle almost

Syntel bought by Atos. Syntel work culture not good. Syntel only famous for onsite. He immediately sent onsite as compared to other companies.

cab service. parking.. no variable pay till AP3 role.

no technical training. no job security less salary for fresher.. 5 lakh bond for onsite. no transparency in appraisal system. no work from home sandwich leave policy... no extra money for working on Saturday or Sunday.. they provide compoff leave but with lots of term and conditions..

Definitely I had a great time,But from a regular employee's perspective This organistaion is definitely not anybody would like to work for,The Processes in the organistaion are thr major drawbacks for the employees here,Having worked here for approx 4 years I definitely have many such instances to validate above mentioned points.

I used to work for Mobility Practise as a Developer.I would rate my career as a 50% Success rated career with 2 out 4 good projects,By good projects I mean Projects with challenges that made me learn lessons Technically and Professionaly.

Syntel is my first company , so i learned very much here. I groomed as an Professional IT from college passout. The best thing in syntel that you will learn very much, you become very hardworking and can handle any project all alone. Syntel have good quality of projects and good working environment.

Dislikes

As an campus hire my salary was not that good compared to other IT companies. In total 2.8 years of time span with syntel i didn't get good hike and appraisal even though my rating use to be always highest.

Overall work environment is very lax.

Dislikes

No managerial involvement in important issues, higher ups only interact if there is a problem that has been escalated. Negligible appreciation or recognition for work done, little to no compensation for extra efforts or hours put in. Cases where management takes on projects with impossible deadlines to get more projects into the company and then the employees have to bear the burden.
