Job security, good work-life balance, company culture is also fine

Dislikes

- Bad/No Leadership, no experienced people in Tech. - Appraisals are extremely low, cost-cutting in laptops(At least they should provide Mac equivalent for Windows), freshers are paid more than experienced people who are already working in the company, salary bands are overall very less. - No mentorship. - Most processes are under the hit-and-trial phase which leads to wastage of time and effort. - No one knows this company even after working on India's largest TB program and with multiple other countries. - We don't see people coming in from reputed organisations like Amazon, Microsoft, Swiggy, Zomato, etc which can help in solidifying our tech and bring in rich experience and boost team motivation. - Selection of gifts is very poor(e.g. colouring book, microgreens). No festival gifts....Read More

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
