This company is known as a hire and fire company. They don't have long term projects and always welcome have to go for client interview which is very horrible to crack. Indian entity of EPAM is only focussed on staff aug and staffing responsibilities. They claim we take best talent etc. but on the ground company is mainly built and developed by its strong engineering practices from outside of India in the past. There is very less focus on delivery but more focus on just staffing. In addition to this, they take 5 rounds of interviews in which they ensure you have strong engineering technical base and experience, but finally as delivery managers they will only ask you to take interviews, coordinate for demands with clients, and place resources to grow headcount in India. For now this model is going to help them but very soon they will end up becoming just another service company....Read More

It is a consulting firm, which asks employees to work from client location. There is nothing from the EPAM end. If client is good product based company you might have learning curve

Dislikes

Promotion Process doesn't consider employee performance in the client project. Hikes are less compared to market standards, for this term atleast. Works like a consulting company rather than a Organization, EPAM manager will not know what projects we are working on because we need to work from client location, because of this our work is not valued.

They have good learning platform and industry tie-ups to get your certifications done. This is the only good thing about this organization.

No job security at senior levels. Zero work life balance if you are into some project. Whether you will stay in the organization will primarily depend on whether you are above 80% into billable roles with some customer or the other. There is not much choice on the kind of roles as you have to just get into something to survive. Please remember below things before joining EPAM.They are trapping people for thier business purpose. Interview process has only 2 rounds, even though u r not done well, they will offer you good package. Actual game starts after joining.They are hiring for bench.Recruiter or HR don't disclose below things before joining. They will say like training will be given. It is not training , they will give a big assignment and you have to clear 4 internal rounds of evaluation just to get project interview opportunity. Micromanagement at peak level. your assignment study level tracked by many mentors, Each day need to update which lesson u studied and what topic next. Minimum 3 weeks time will be given. once done mentor will take interview , like this you have to clear 3 levels of interviews. Then they will give opportunity for project interview. Mentor will keep rejecting if he is not satisfied. You will be sent home if not able to clear these 4 rounds..Please be careful before joining. don't get trapped by seeing their offer. They just playing with our career. This is applicable for all skills. Advice to Management : Please evaluate the candidate before releasing offer letter. This company doesn’t have any culture. It is totally client based work culture. The manager has no power and they keep telling that log off once your working hours are done. But they doesn’t specify the working hours as client gives task in the evening.
