This organization lacks basic respect for employees and their decisions. You have no authority to make even the simplest decisions on your own. The resignation process is extremely rigid, requiring a 3-month notice period; otherwise, your salary is withheld, and you are expected to pay the equivalent of 3 months' salary. if you're fired, there’s no notice period or settlement—you're expected to leave immediately on the same day. If the company opens a new branch, you're forced to relocate without any valid reasoning being considered, and there's no provision for conveyance or food allowances. they provide T-shirts for brand promotion, but shockingly, employees have to pay for them. Questioning this policy or raising concerns about it could lead to termination. There is no job safety, no provident fund (PF), and no insurance benefits provided. Employees are left to fend for themselves without any form of security or support from the organization. Overall, the working environment feels oppressive and authoritarian, more akin to a "Hitler organization" than a professional workplace. Teachers experience a sense of undervaluation stemming from insufficient respect, inadequate compensation relative to their workload, and a lack of coordination among higher-ups. Essential facilities such as electricity, water, and refreshments fall short, while hygiene standards, notably in washrooms, are substandard. Academic emphasis appears disproportionately directed towards extracurricular activities, even within higher secondary education. Notice periods for teachers are insufficient, and policies often appear arbitrary and unreasonable. 1. Inefficient HR Department: Very poorly managed and lacks a systematic approach, making it one of the worst HR experiences encountered. They are not at all effective. 2. Unreliable Talent Acquisition Team: not trustworthy, often providing misleading information for potential hires. Negative reviews about the school are dismissed as a fault of the previous employees, which us untruthful as the complaints are valid. 3. Ineffective Professional Development: The mandatory 108 hours of PD sessions are unproductive and do not contribute to career growth, making them waste of time and energy. 4. Problematic Principal: She is a significant issue. Over 55 years old, she lacks empathy and treats teachers poorly, often speaking without consideration and acting as if teachers are her subordinates. She is extremely rude. 5. High teacher Turnover: Many teachers leave mid-year, causing significant disruptions. Due to school's insufficient human resources, the teachers who stay get lot of duty classes and the the duty classes are so random, for instance, a senior school teacher is given duty in grade 1 or 2, which makes no sense at all. 6. Error-Prone Ekya Learning Center: The ELC frequently produces error-filled question papers (from chapter tests to pre-boards), which requires teachers to spend excessive time correcting them, often communicated via Slack, necessitating constant phone use. (Fun fact is the only work they do is making question papers). 7. Inconsistent Communication Practices: Although the principal discourages phone use, all critical communications are manages through WhatsApp, leading to contradictory and stressful communication process. 8. Poor Coordination Among Coordinators: There is a lack of coordination among the coordinators, leading to confusion and additional stress for teachers. 9. Unfair Extra Classes: After resignation, the academic coordinator assigns numerous extra classes, disregarding personal health issues or other concerns. 10. Delayed Final Salary: After resignation, there are numerous formalities to complete, but the last month's salary is often delayed without clear communication from HR. The policy mentions 45-day period for the documents and full and final settlement (that particular month) but lacks clarity on the previous month salary. The problem is they give you a complete LOP pay slip although you have worked the entire month; and the worst thing is they don't even give your last pay slip by themself, you'll have to send a mail and get it. 11. No job security: They will take you out of the job even if you have good reviews from the parents, only because they have lesser sections (less admissions) to deal with. 12. HR Policies: Its understandable that the HR Policy is one sided but they don't even follow it themselves. The HR department needs serious attention on an immediate basis. Everything else will start falling into places on its own post that. Being a teacher myself, I honestly suggest you not join this organization, you'll be at your worst.
