Only the job security in the name of Government job and the status is the only thing.

Dislikes

I didn't feel any motivation to work in police. The salary is also meagre and taking the work fout times than that salary. No assessment of skills gap is done. Never pay importance to training, they dont even know that employees productivity is related to the job satisfaction, postings as per the interest and skill of an individual is not given.

It's a job of reputation in the society. You will get confidence on yourself serving here. You can get chance to do good thing for society and poor people also to curse the criminals. When you wear uniform of police you get an extra confidence to fight with every challenge.

Corruption and buttering are the main motives in this department. If you are clever in buttering the senior officers and corrupt too, you can get the posting and promotions of your own choice. One cannot get the police station in charge ship without paying corruption money. Traffic circle posting is also very high in corruption.
