1. Passive aggressive communication: The management always tries to ascertain their dominance over employees. If any updates regarding delayed salaries is sought, it will be met with severe backlash. Salaries and achievement of milestones can also be linked. 2. Lack of value and respect to the employees: The management does not really believe that employees are important and integral part for the growth of the company. They give open statements like "you are replaceable". 3. Lack of appreciation, promotions and increments: Since working for almost two years, neither a verbal appreciation, promotion nor a monetary incentive has been received. The annual review meetings are a complete bogus and aim at making one feel incompetent rather than empowered. 4. Poor work-life balance: The 6-day work per week is very hectic and there are very few leaves - 12 days annually on a pro rata basis. 5. Rigid work hours and lack of flexibility: It does not really matter even if one spends extra hours completing an experiment, one really can't leave early even by at least 15 minutes without letting the management know. This could be fireable offence. Taking short breaks from work can be considered loitering. 6. Rigorous reporting with daily, weekly and monthly updates: The reporting is as such too high.
