Can I just say "NOTHING".......because it is the truth.

1. No respect for the Writers by the Editors. The Editors misbehaved with me. I never had a problem with her telling me the flaws in the writing but commenting on me about my ethics is unacceptable in a workplace. I was assigned an editor who is with the firm for a long time. It is so funny and weird to see that they hire people who are completely incompetent and do not show any signs of maturity and sensibility. Her communication skills are in negative. 2. Even when you report incidents to the full-time employees who may have assigned you the project and inducted you, they will not pay attention as soon as possible to such cases of mental harassments. It took them two days to even reply me, let alone talk. 3. A suggestion- Get a stand-alone HR department with efficient executives who can handle these grievances in a right way. 4. I had to terminate my contract in a matter of two weeks because I saw the petty, incompetent editors with such poor communication skills and executives. 5. A suggestion for such editors- KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU HAVE A JOB BECAUSE THE WRITERS WITH WHOM YOU MISBEHAVE, WRITE AND THEN YOU EDIT. SHOW RESPECT TO THE WRITERS WHO GIVE YOU WORK RATHER BEING TYRANNICAL AND BOSSY FOR NO REASON. In today's world, Writers can write and directly post their material. They have the sense of a good material. Yet if a writer refers an editor, kindly be respectful to them. As an intern I really like the work culture of Content-Whale. Although it could be a little intimidating at my first meeting new people and putting my skills into practice, but i felt really good once I started my job. This internship really benefited me in the long run.

One of the only things that I enjoyed about working here is that they have diverse range of topics and content types for you to work with. As a fresher, Content Whale is one place where you can get an understanding of the basic.

Dislikes

Unfortunately, that is all you will recieve here. The company has a toxic environment for employees, and management focuses entirely on internal politics than on work and quality. Clients are not given priority, neither are any employees. It is their way or the high way. Other issues that employees face: 1. Delayed Payments (1-3 months regularly) 2. No consistent quality standard which results in a lot of revisions. 3. Inexperienced editorial team and poor checking standards. 4. They are willing to take up work but don't bother asking clients for all project details i.e. you're left to figure out what to do and then revise because you guessed wrong. 5. No clear deadlines enforced on their end for the writers/freelancers so editorial staff has to stay beyond working hours to get work done....Read More
