I worked at Goodrich Aerospace Services Ltd, Bangalore for about three years. The company had later been known initially as UTC Aerospace and then currently as Collins Aerospace. So, the company has undergone several mergers and acquisitions and also prone in future. I enjoyed working with the company as it is a Tier 1 supplier foraircraft manufacturers and offered good learning experience. I had an opportunity to work with OEMs e.g, Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier etc. There have been couple of onsite opportunities mostly in USA and Germany. The company pays well and has been operating in India for long time. But the company is an engineering outsourcing and servicing company with a manufacturing center (for export to OEMs). Indian Senior Managment team is spineless. As it is an American company, hire and fire policy exists as Americans are ruthless in it no matter how sincere you are in your job or responsibility. So, the top of the ladder, there is no ethic followed by the company. You can join the company but without long term planning in mind.
