There is a lot of care taken while mentoring staff and a lot of efforts put into the growth and training. It is a transparent organisation and also if people want correct feedback for learning and growth this is the best place to be. CWS also pays better than many other NGOs in the same space and is led by a very strong leadership team which promises and delivers

When it comes to work-life Balance, it is one of the best organizations to work with. Having worked with many orgs before, this org provides strict work times and then you can chill for rest of the day. I have rarely worked beyond office hours. The executive director is prime example of the same on how she manages her work within the office times and rarely asks you to work beyond office hours or weekends. Have been here for more than a year, I have attended two offsites which allowed me to get better understanding of the org, provided learning opportunities through various channels internally and externally opportunities to do more for myself professionally and for the org together. The org invested in me through couple of courses and learning opportunities from outside the org. The people here are amazing, experts in their work and if not are encouraged and provided with all opportunities to become one. The most learning you get are by working with the teams who are in field from both research and conservation areas in the organisation. In all senses, it's an org which encourages you to be more organized, efficient and gives you enough opportunities in the work setting to grow....Read More

Sometimes being organised is not everyone's cup of tea and when timelines don't meet it becomes difficult to deal with. However, conversations help and management provides all opportunities for us to learn and be better.
