Likes

Good environment for research and development, very good facility available for characterization and good guidance also available here.

Dislikes

Most of the people is doing politics in eachother and some scientists doing waste of money of Tax payers.

I'm working as a research scholar and my study topic is "Studies on nanomaterial incorporated cementitious system". Basically, my is the preparation and characterization of nanomaterial i.e. Nano silica, Nano lime, application in the cementitious system.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
