Employees are hired to project growth, even when there is no actual requirement. Thia can result in freshers being dismissed without prior notice. For permanent employees, its common to be placed in 6 month performance improvement program(PIP), which often seems like a pretext to eventually terminate them. Despite claiming to be employee-centric, the company often fall short when its time for salary hikes. Common excuses include taking more leaves, being unavailable for overtime, or not being available during fixed working hours, even if you consistently complete your 8 hour daily target Employees are frequently required to work on weekends without being allowed to charge overtime, as project hours are limited in most of the cases. No job security Even though the company is USA based but the Pakistani Management hiring mostly Pakistanis. It became worse since 2022.

Work culture of CDM Smith is really amazing, proper outings are arranged for the employees, for rejuvenation of the employees and to encourage employee involvement in extra curricular activities, games like carrom, badminton tournament, cricket tournaments are also arranged.

Internal politics related to different CDM groups is actually downgrading the values of CDM. No proper work flow is there, less scope of skill enhancement.
