Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Please some some give best advice?

Salary was never on time, the role of 5 employees were over burdened on one person. They would never want to face any loss and even if they did they would deduct salary of employees who were earning peanuts. Salary deduction was a very common thing for them
