Departmental construction,supervision,planning and maintenance of roads is the strength of BRO.very effective in Emergency situations. It is a uniform force.

Mostly the key situations are controlled by Army officers on deputations.Working areas are far away from the habitat and remote areas.Medical facilities are not up to the mark.
