Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

The work culture and the people at BEST are amazing. The management understands the needs of the employee and make you feel comfortable

Dislikes

Sometimes the work allocation seems to be imbalanced.

It's good for a fresher since they can see all the aspects of a particular team

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Good compensation, work-life balance is good but can be better, good leave policy.

Dislikes

Management decisions can be slow sometimes, more client focused than employee focused, appraisal parameters are not good (some are irrelevant/impossible)
