Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Please some some give best advice?

Previously it was a very good company.. But afterwards some dishonest people take full command of the company with support from the top management. The result was obvious & the health of the company starts deteriorating.. The good engineers left paving the way of the dishonest people & they took full advantage of the situation.Then after realizing the situation they called the old staffs & tried to recover. At this point of time the change of government takes place in West Bengal. As they were in close proximity of the major party of the previous government;they were caught on wrong foot. Afterwards the final nail was nailed in their coffin when Amri fire took place as they were the major stake holders along with Emami. Emami managed to sneak at the cost of them. It became easy for Emami as Shrachi was never in good book of the political party of the present government....Read More
