Being Product Control Analyst there is not much likes about Barclays. You need to connect with various persons across the globe which help to develop interpersonal and communication skills.

Job security - Excellent

Dislikes

Working life balance is toxic. We need to work for 14 hours a day throughout the month because of that can't learn new things. There are major politics being played at senior management level, at Analyst level there is no support from Management team on any point. You also won't get promotion if you are not favorite person of Management team, No matter how hard and efficient you work.

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer.
