Salary day (4th Day of Every Month): The Only Good thing

- The Working Culture: The primitive mindset - I pay you, so I own you. - The working time: Official business hours -- 09:00 am to 5:30 pm. Unofficial business hours: 09:00 pm to 08:00 pm or more. If you leave by 06:00 pm - you will possibly get a call the same day or a comment from them the next working Day asking why did you leave early. They never respect people's time or understand that apart from work, there is a life. - Decision Making: For every nooks & small stuffs, the approval was required from "CEO". I never understood, what's the point of Appointing people in "President" post then. It seemed to me that, management don't trust their own management people (President / Vice President) - Toilets / Washroom: The washroom (both Ladies / Gents) across Offices & plants were at worst conditions. - Working Infrastructure: Old Cracked walls in the main buildings and no-body knows when was the last time, the curtains were washed. The chairs were really old and non of them were in proper condition. The desk are old but manageable. - AC Working Temperature: The temperature in Vadodara reaches really high in summer (in the range of 40 deg C to ~49 Deg C) and people used to keep the AC working in 28degC / 29degC in our marketing department. I used to suffocate a lot -- Such pathetic condition. Even witnessed few departments, where AC is present only for the Boss's cabin and rest of other people used to under fan which was really painful. Such inhuman conditions. I feel pity for those people actually. - Working Days: Whatsoever may happen - there will be 26 Working Days in a month. If a national holiday / public holiday is there in working day, it will be compensated by making people work on Sundays. The holidays / weekly off are decided in the beginning of each month - so technically, you cannot plan for any holidays in Advance. Politics by the HOD.... Sr Management depends on HOD word only..... Camcha are given increment, promotion... & all facilities while deserving/meritorious are deprived.... You can see number of cases from 2016-2018 where HR Sr GM had dirty politics.... To save his position he has done all dirty politics but innocent staff even not given chance they were innocent... All sudden called & sacked.... Sr Management atleast should have/should called those are sacked... are they really guild or made framed... Must pray to GOD he should be paid for his consequences.....Read More

Nothing, it's very much akin to working under a marwadi. They pay you some salary in return they think that they own your entire personal life.

Dislikes

Every month from 1st to 5th dates only they will announce the list of working days for that month. Whatever is the govt holidays they will be compensated by making employees working on Sundays. The company makes sure to have minimum 26 working days by making us work on Sundays. Since leaves are announced in the beginning of every month, you cannot plan/book tickets in advance for your next month holiday plans. Very very typical colonial mindset. "I pay so I own your entire life. You always need to remain uncertain about holidays / family time/ etc... and think only about the company".
