Likes

Support of top management in decision making. Nice people with some politics. If you are good, majority will respect and guide to get best result.

Dislikes

I have not feel but observed job insecurity for average performers.

Work Details

I had good time and learning at Banco. My team mates were best through my career. We enjoyed a lot together and worked very hard for best result. I received good support from management and from my users.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
