The work culture at Aza is better than what I had read before joining. Your opinions are heard, appreciated and implemented by senior executives. Under the new leadership you have complete ownership of your ideas and decision making has been swift. The major plus point is that the technical team is in-house which gives the Product and other teams ample of opportunities to experiment and deliver fast. It has been an exponential learning experience so far.

Dislikes

Majorly no dislikes as such but at times the work can be rigorous and you might have to put in extra hours of effort. Join only if you are serious and ready to push yourself.

When I joined Aza, I saw that Marketing functions were not optimized for the scale and many basics were missing. The then Marketing Manager who took my interview was not associated with the company when I joined, and my reporting was directly under the CEO. It has been an excellent experience for me, and I got to learn a lot while having a say not only in Marketing but also on the Business level, Product inputs, and other functions. The management was open to new ideas and willing to implement them. The marketing team is quite good, and people from different experiences make it an excellent mix. Some functions and people are rigid in how things work, which sometimes causes barriers to improvement. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic, but that's a given for a fast-growing company, and if that is something you are not comfortable with, Aza might not be the right place for you.
