As a teacher belonging to the pre-computer earning era, I have been encouraged to learn about using IT related tools and software for better teaching-learning experience. The institute actually conducts classes for the faculty whenever we urchase new software. This has included even basic operating system software. Because of this, we could cross over to online teaching mode relatively seamlessly. There are many opportunities to learn and I have been encouraged to be proactive with both teaching and extra curricular activites. As I am amember of the permanent staff, I have good jb security. None of the employees faced any salary cuts during the pandemic unlike other similar institutes.

Dislikes

Dislike is a very strong word and I would not like to use it while refering to the work culture. However, I do hope that colleagues of the younger generation would be more aware and sympathetic towards the needs of students.

Work Details

I teach Fashion Design related subjects. I also conduct workshops on fashion and art related activities. I am the Nodal Officer for NIRF, UUCMS, and media related activities I help with writing scripts for shows and emcee for our formal even

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)
