1.ACs doesn't work at all. 2. Coffee machine area is always dirty 3. Have to call admin people for water and other basic things. 4.Desk are not clean. 5.Water bottles are dirty, they don't change the water regularly. 6. Office is full of cockroach, they don't schedule for deep cleaning . 7. Manager doesn't have technical knowledge.Shows partiality and favouritism towards his favourite employees. 8. Managers are pets of management who only barks when management tell them to bark. 9. They will fire you without any prior notice even you are good performing employee. 10. They use out dated technologies and there is absolutely no scope of development or learning in this company. 11. They will not give your appraisal saying the company is not earning enough money and they can't give you the money that you have worked hard for the entire year. 12. Appraisal and confirmation are always delayed. 13. You never get appreciated for your work. 14. You can't take your own earned leaves whenever you want. 15. The vp is South Indian and have no respect for his employees. 16. The HR and admin teams always gossip with each other and don't do any actual work. 17. As an employee of ARC each day is new learning. Able to work as we want. Able to learn what we want. Able to implement new technology to improve the development. Till I worked here only limitations is employee themselves. Other than that lot of learning parallel on multiple technology. Seniors help juniors at there(junior) convenience.

Dislikes

Work-life balance was an issue. Other than if you love technology U will love to work.

1. If you really want to work with latest Technology then ARC is the best, you will hardly find a good software Product Company in Kolkata like ARC!!! 2. I have never seen such smooth and prompt actions from HR Team never before, they always helpful to resolve our issues 3. Salary- As per Kolkata Standerd, they offer really decent salary. 4. ARC having its big Game Zone in Kolkata office, which is really awesome and even they organize their Sports Carnival including internal Cricket/Football match every year 5. Colleagues are very much helpful and work culture is good 6. I) NO Job security as people can be fired casually anytime by most unfair and unfit management II) Pointless Meetings happening all time even at midnight III) Favoritism, office drama and politics is always happening IV) Juniors are guided vaguely and always used as scapegoat by seniors to take all blame and treated the worst way possible V) Top management monitors each and everything of employees and finds out their mistakes to point out later and ridicule them VI) No appreciation or growth for deserving and hardworking people instead their accomplishments are neglected ultimately stolen by favoured people. VII) Lot of interns are hired and fired in frequent manner and given huge amount of work responsibilities for cost cutting purposes. VIII) Single resource is supposed to do all the work is his domain to save precious money of management, like a developer supposed to work in development, testing, administration everything in low salary all day and night as micromanagement is present everywhere without caring about employees IX) Infrastructure is full of old codes which is very hard to navigate and fix and their products are very old and not up to the mark X) Managers are very rude using people like tools and management does a lot of unethical practices spreading negativity Join only if you are desperate for a job, wants to be taken advantage of and not getting any other opportunities at all....Read More

As I joined as an intern, I was introduced with the Job Culture by ARC in a very formal yet easy manner. Hence very happy to be an intern in this renowned MNC. Learning programming languages with the help of seniors is making my problems seem smaller.
