1. Company Culture and freedom of working 2. Cooperative and approachable Management 3. Company works on latest technologies 4. Good performers are always appreciated and retained by all means - salary, good projects and learning scope. 5. One of the most stable company in Kolkata for learning and growth. 6. Mentored by professionals to upgrade and become more productive 7. Succession planning in place During the Covid situation company has been very stable. Salaries were paid on time, no employee was expelled rather many got decent increment, got good projects during 2021. Very important no politics. Recently soft skill training, skill set and leadership trainings are imparted that is a good practice....Read More

Dislikes

Leaves could have been more. While work from home or hybrid model of working it's decent. Nothing much but surely there are some areas of improvement that definitely company will improve in future.

I am handling the entire gamut of HR functions. Trying to maintain quality and working on the areas of improvement.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
