Once u used to get agile and competent staffs but with the fleet expansion demands are so high management are not keen enough to judge the competence level of the staff to nevigate or run the engine. Which are now major concern of the growing incidents at sea.

Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do?
