Freelance RJ with Akashvani since April 2017. Started with short talks for the Rajadhani channel, then moved to 1-hour Western music programmes on 102.6 A.I.R FM Rainbow and 2 to 4-hour chunks at the General Oversees Service as a transmission assignee.

Not satisfied no respect for contractual workers no freedom in work for ccas and number of listeners is down now to the core end , style of AIR should be totally modified there is no benifit for contractual basis workers other than radio jockeying we are supposed to do all works including some of the office works less paid to the ccas getting more work AIR made for listeners but the listeners are also not interested nowadays .. The perks of radio jockeys. as I know that in Delhi Radio Jockeys for same work get great remuneration. so in Mumbai gold and rainbow you can not get it. I am still waiting for restart of Gold Mumbai. when it will be happen? when employees want to fight so administration don't support in that way.

All india radio did not support any of their employees. They just use and through. I am casual announcer and radio jockey but they shutdown their services during covid19. I had not any other job. Work culture is also not good. Work load on contractual employees is very high. And they do not consider their contractual employees for permanent position.

High rank officials. They don't bother about ground reality. They unable to understand their employees problem. They just order. They don't listen creative ideas and did not want to improve all india radio. I am in external services division and the high rank officials want to close this service. But this service is very important to make good image about india in the Pakistan and China and other countries. But official just want to save money. They don't give us permanent position and did not support any of their employees....Read More

Regional News Section has very good woring style with their PTC's or contractual staff.

They think contracutal staff are animals they are not considered contractual employee as a employee. Officers are misbehaving or sometimes abusive language with contractual staff also. I think efficent job seeker joins other organisation or company where their is appraised by officials.

Radio is a powerful and influential medium. It is a great opportunity to be able to make use of it as a producer . there is lot of scope to broadcast on par or even better than private radio channels

insecurity as a employ of Prasar Bharati ..where recruitment rules are not concrete , official procedures are not transparent and the indifference shown to Prasar Bharati is not at all justified .Discrimination at all levels and lack of motivation , upskilling etc . poor policy decisions
