The management at ALARD will keep adding to your pre-defined scope of work. This can be quite a learning opportunity. For instance, when I joined as HOD for the BBA/BCA courses, I was asked to head admissions for the Engineering college for a few months. Later I was heading admissions of BBA/BCA, alongwith digital marketing & onlinepresence management for the entire campus (Engineering, Pharma, Management, CBSE School).
The management is highly distrusting of its employees, this forces you to learn thorough documentation of your work to prove what you have been doing to deserve your pay without cuts. This taught me "maintain minutes of all conversations", "log all that you do", "...Read More

Completely untrustworthy.
1. Will not honour agreed upon commitments.
For instance, they will mention agreed-upon pay in offer letter. Will ask to join on basis of offer letter & delay giving appointment letter citing absurd excuses. 1st salary is paid nearly 1.5-2 months after joining, which is lower than the agreed upon pay. Thisis when they give appointment letter with a lower than agreed upon pay citing ridiculous excuses.
2. Deduct salary citing ad-hoc reasons.
For instance, for a 2 month period after the 3rd covid wave, the management asked all employees to work from home. It was all but a ruse to give the management an excuse to deduct 50% salaries citing the assumption that employees might not have worked full hours while working from home. This despite detailed work log being provided by the employees.
3. No structure. The management keeps adding to your scope of work. KPIs are not defined, SOPs are invented & altered on the go.
For instance, a person hired for corporate relations for the MBA college is the made Academic Dean, then asked to over see admissions for all courses, as well as to take care of placements across all courses, without adequate human or financial resources. The person did the best possible but obviously couldn't deliver the very best on all fronts.
I lost in excess of ₹2 lakhs in 13 months while working with ALARD. ₹78k because ₹6k/month was reduced from the agreed upon pay, ₹66k deducted due to work from home, & another ₹66k because I decided to resign immediately (without serving notice period) when they deducted 50% pay of all employees due to work from home....Read More

No work life balance, no respect for employees, they know how to deduct their salary.
