We also understand that you have a concern about the promotion policies of the organisation. Being a small set-up, we have had a more or less flat structure for most of our processes. Some processes where there was more delineation between roles/responsibilities have a robust promotion plan in place. However, those where the work is more transactional, opportunities are fewer. Over and above this, many a times, it is the attrition at the higher positions that sets triggers for promotions. Hence, lower attrition, though desirable, directly affects the opportunities. Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review. The organization uses a rating method to grade employees and while employee's individual performance is the key deciding factor for salary hikes, department performance as well as Company's overall performance also influence the appraisal percentages for the year. To counter exceptional skews, if any, we also work out salary-corrections to bring employees at par with industry standards for that role. Would also like to add that with no standardization in the way Comp & Bens are being offered in the industry today, it has become difficult to set a right number for any role. Would like to take this opportunity to add that we do have day shifts, however, positions of Trainers are currently needed for only those processes that are supporting our clients in the US region. Dear Reviewer, We acknowledge your review and it is good that you spoke about your disdain towards office politics. In order to position themselves or their teams and in an endeavor to get their tasks done on priority, employees, many a times indulge in informal, unofficial, ad-hoc activities that keep happening on the side. These get termed as Office Politics. Much of it is natural. Wherever people get together and work together on something as a unit, it is bound to occur. However, if you are experiencing negative politics that is putting you or your team in a deadlock or putting any deliverables at risk or compromising the quality of your work, we urge you to please report to us in person. It is good to know that you are satisfied about your remuneration and the work environment. <> Working in night shifts is a conscious choice you have made and built your career around it. You can still move to day shift positions that we have. Pick those skills and look for a switch. Please do note that as these will not be sales jobs, you may have to let go of the additional incentives that you may be making in sales. <> Unfortunately, WFH is not something that Alacrity offers as a policy. On a need basis, especially for medical reasons, exceptions do get extended. Best wishes to you!
