Manager thinks he is the son in law of the company. He does too intentional gas lighting, power dynamics and exhibits poor managerial and leadership skills. Manager sets unrealistic expectations and set you intentionally up for failure because he is too weak to be insecure of even entry level employee and blames his uneffectiveness on you.

Arguably the worst organisation to work in considering there are no employee benefits other than a postpaid sim card that comes with a max limit. Coming to cons, I can mention end number of them but let's settle at a few: 1) Horrible culture that starts with micromanagement and ends with calls on Sunday morning with commands (not requests) to work on random issues and requirements. 2) No one cares about quality of development and wants features to be delivered within hours without proper testing and release plan. 3) Every team faces comparison from other teams despite the fact that actual problem lies in the senior officials who work like daily wage workers. 4) Flexibility - what is that? You get paid to come 5 days in office and spend 9 hours daily without expecting a single moment of gratitude. 5) Every small request is met with personal comments/insults by HR and managers who have teamed up to make every employee's life a living hell. 6) They can't fix a coffee machine and that's why we cannot expect a working infra either which has zero support for developers. 7) Pollution, rain, earthquake, fire or tornado should not stop you from arriving into office to earn the daily wage. List is huge but will mention main points only. 1. No flexibility of WFH or hybrid and you have to come 5 days to office. 2. If you are living in Noida or Noida office is near to you then also you have to travel 3 hours to come to office in gurgaon to satisfy HR/Management egos. 3. Floor environment is worst than any BPO, everyone keeps on shouting or discuss everything on your heads and also people attend their calls on laptop speakers in loud voice. You can not focus on your work and then you have to work in night at home. 4. Managers and HR are not supportive here they will play with you like a ball if you raise any concern with them. 5. No cabs facility and food is worst. 6. No learning opportunities and they will never invest on you for learning as like other companies do in form of training and certification. 7. If you are joining here in the name of Airtel my request to you do not join as things are totally different and you will never feel like product based company here. 8. I have worked with some really great people who have excellent technical expertise. There are teams where good work culture is maintained. Office is in a mall, lot of fancy shops and restaurants.

Imagine the worst parts of every manager you’ve ever had, rolled into one glorious trainwreck of a human being, who has an ego of a Death Star. This dude couldn’t debug a prod issue but struts around like he’s Silicon Valley’s gift to humanity. A cowardly backstabber who thinks he’s Steve Jobs. He gives out raises and remote work like candy to his loyal minions, expecting them to grovel at his feet. A charming mix of insecurity and favoritism. Picture a guy who’s as two-faced as a coin, but less useful. Hikes and work-from-home perks are reserved exclusively for his personal fan club—the ones who’ve mastered the art of brown-nosing and boot-kissing. It’s less about performance and more about servitude. If you’re not bending over backwards to inflate his already oversized ego, forget about any perks. He’s the micromanagement maestro, obsessing over every minor detail like a boomer on steroids. Not only is he tracking every single leave you take, but he’s also got a whole spreadsheet dedicated to it. And come month-end, he’s right there, spamming your inbox with reminders. Ignore him, and he’ll go ahead and apply the leaves himself. It’s like he’s got this pathological need to control even the smallest aspects of your work life. He’s got a calendar with everyone’s lunch and coffee breaks marked on it, too. In his mind, this is what makes him a ‘good manager.’ It’s like he’s got this desperate need to control every tiny detail, probably because it’s the only thing he can actually handle. Not content with just being an incompetent micromanaging backstabber, he’s also a master of psychological warfare. This genius has a brilliant strategy to ‘motivate’ his team: he loves to crank up the pressure to 11 and then threaten to put people on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) if they don’t dance to his tune. He never throws a party, but boy, does he show up to yours and eat all the expensive stuff. It’s like inviting a black hole to your buffet. He’s that guy who brings a salad to a potluck and leaves with a full plate of prime meat.
