There is nothing to like about this company. The reporting managers are rude as hell. The hr is a liar. They tell u what not but in the end tell u to sell their insurance plan to the students families. Big scam. Nothing good can ever of joining this company.

they trick students into interning at their company and then make them sell their insurance plans to the familes if these students. They would promise to teach financial modelling and what not in the second odule of the internship but obviosly that wont happen until you make the sale. that too with a target of 1.5 lakhs. only afterbegging them they reduce it to 35K. otherwise you wont get your certificate. their office is as big as a washroom of a mall....Read More

Me at IDBI federal life insurance company limited a dream come true to work with a insurance company. This company in such a small period of time reached such a great height, completed break even in 5 years. Have excellent products to sell off. Loved to be a part of this insurance company .

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about the company was they were not providing sufficient knowledge as to how to sell off the products to unknown people.

As an MBA student, I got selected for 3 months summer internship, total 6 candidates were selected and I am one of them, there is nothing happened good in my 3 months of internship, except one thing that the training manager is polite in nature, they give us good amount of knowledge of overall Insurance sector, my Reporting managerand senior manager start demanding for one life insurance after IRDA Exam, and they also told us if we unable to bring policy they will not provide the certificate of internship...Read More

The Most Dislike part of IDBI Federal Kolkata branch is that they are doing business, they hire intern just to bring policy from there home otherwise they will not provide Internship Certificate, unfortunately, six of us has to policy from there home to get the certificate
