• R - Reports: Used for generating reports in SAP system.

• I - Interfaces: Used for integrating SAP system with external systems.

• C - Conversions: Used for data conversions within SAP system.

• E - Enhancements: Used for enhancing standard SAP functionalities.

• F - Forms: Used for designing and printing forms in SAP system.

Delivery class determines how a custom object is transported between systems.

• Delivery class A: Application table (data is transported with the application)

• Delivery class C: Customizing table (data is transported with the customizing)

• Delivery class L: Temporary table (data is not transported)

• Delivery class E: Not classified (data is not transported)

CDS views can be exposed as OData services for consumption in external applications.
