Work-life balance is not good; I need to work on weekends, too. Even if I don't know a specific skill, they will ask me to work on it and still complain that I am not able to complete it within time.

It's all depend on manager, manager can make or break your experience in PWC, co. is very good and yes favouritism is there then only you can get promotion. Hike is ok ok , bonus is also less.

The work life balance and the services like cab and over time benefits are not there, and they may plot you to any kind of work which may be totally different from your background.

Company and its operation policy are good but people Who are leading team are not capable enough to direct team according to company values and policies. Work life balance is critical in some of the projects. And it's transportation policy makes you loose your time atleast for 2hours in a day excluding travel time. Leads are not transparent in giving ratings, OT pay won't given on time and most of the time no full OT will be given ,if work extra 10 hours it will be given 1 or 2 hours based on the leads mood. Who ever is capable of doing work will get more work but not appreciated. Lack of carreer development. Favouritism.

Good culture in teams. Great learning. Some teams like international are better. They undertake complex work and have very good culture.

Dislikes

Salary parity is an issue when compared to competitors like Accenture. This is true for people undertaking relatively low complexity work in Accenture. Their salaries remain higher despite no appraisals given for a year. Salary is not determined at KPMG for people considering work they do, may be due to lack of understanding of HR regarding difference in work undertaken be each person. Poor salary also results in less skilled people getting hired requiring lot of counseling and guidance.
