I got many right opportunities to work on varied and new areas like salesforce, big data and ml. But its not true for majority of the workforce. Mostly you do not get a choice and the pressure to reskill and score a high Digital Quotient is high. Every quarter there is a new set of reskill topics that you need clear to meet that met-expectation appraisal rating. So you need to be on toes mostly. There are always two streams you need to cover - client commitments and infy commitments.

Dislikes

The compensation is awful if you stay for long in same org. There are always years where there will be 0 hike so that effectively ruins your ctc.

...dian IT industry. They follow quality processes and overall governance strictly. Good for people who are okay with avg compensation and looking for job stability.

...ocesses. Company will spend lot on campuses but little on bonuses for employees. Can focus more on retaining employees paying them decent market std compensation.
