I had a short tenure in TCS, was there to be judged much. But is an employee centric company but the the top down view does not have much visibility on the grass root level employees.

Job security depends on situations. Few of my friends were in bench for more than 6 months, happily receiving salary without joining any project. While one of my friend was dismissed from cognizant because of not reporting to office during bench time. It all depends on the lead., my last project lead is a good man but a bad lead, he is new to cognizant as well. He doesn't even hear your suggestions and made me lose 3 months of night shift allowances worth 18,000

So I joined here as a fresher and I feel like that was the best decision I ever take . First they gave me a 2 months of complete training which was seriously enough . I never had this long training in any other company . The trainer or anything there was absolutely perfect . Everyone is so understanding and helpful . So flexible to work and you feel like a family over there

Apart from promotion, everything is good in this Company including salary hike which we're getting approximate 7.5-10% yearly, job security, teammates & seniors, managers & HR, work life balance, fixed working time, improving soft skills and company culture etc.

Dislikes

Career growth is too slow and less salary hike.
